They kiss on a Tuesday.
When Scott wakes up that morning, there’s nothing particularly special about the day; in fact, everything seems pretty typical— Stiles sprawled out next to him, Playstation controller cradled between his cheek and shoulder, last night’s nachos sitting soggy and inedible on the bedside table. They’re late for school, which is also nothing new, but Scott is so content that he doesn’t want to get up. The peace and familiarity is a welcomed treat.
please don’t feel bad for not being able to love yourself!
loving yourself is a long and difficult process and it involves a lot of deprogramming yourself from the harmful bullshit that society and people have told you. you shouldn’t be made to feel weak or a failure for struggling with that.
take your time, and when you do feel able to love yourself, it’ll be wonderful and genuine and not a rushed fake thing
in the mean time, please take care of yourself!
